Generally, granite pavers’ total cost mainly consists of 4 parts, raw materials, procurement, packing&freight, operating charges.
The increase in granite raw materials’ price occupies about 30 to 65% of the total cost in recent years, which is finally subject to the height of specific items.
While the procurement of granite pavers occupies 10% to 15% in total, including cutting the block by the blade saw and bridge cutting machine, treatment like bush-hammered, flamed or shot blasted on the surface.
Each pallet’s packing cost of granite paver is lower than above, usually taking up 5% to 15% of the total FOB price. The inland freight also increases much than before, which can take up to 6% to 12% now.
Finally, the operating charges include paperwork, customs clearance, THC, and other shipping company charges. This part takes up 8% to 15% of the total cost, which subjects to the number of containers per shipment.
